Good Points

Smart looks
Innovative
Camera quite good
Macro mode
Great for young kids as an ego booster, but hopeless for business

Bad Points

Cannot search contacts
Cannot enable speaker on incoming calls without taking the phone away from the ear and making three button presses, which is a very unprofessional way to answer a phone.
Extremely difficult menu system, and the manual is vague and has clearly had very little effort put into it.
Very slow to transfer MP3 files (about 7 minutes per track).
Poor battery life.
No stop watch.
Received calls gives you no details such as time of call.
Missed calls are put in the same folder as received calls, and you have to wade through them to determine what's what.
I am constantly asked to speak up when using speaker phone.

General Comments

Do the people at Motorola actually use mobile phones themselves? They are so out of touch with the every day requirements of a regular phone user. Pat on the back though for producing the Motorola V3X which is a useless gadget which is a novelty that soon wears off, and the reality of having to live with a inefficient work tool haunts you for the life of your contract.

the menu is the easiset menu ever in my opininon, clearly laid out in the manual and very easy to navigate! speaker button, you only press 1 key either on the side of the phone or the right-hand soft key so you don't have to take it away from your ear, but when you have it on speaker you have to put it away from your ear anyway, don't you??! ok, battery is not brilliant but that takes very very little time to charge, and the mp3 speed is probably affected by your computer programmes/speed as well - i haven't tried that yet.

the phone has every single feature listed in the cpw catalogue - one of only 5 that does that - and is available on half price contracts, so is definitely value for money!
