Fantastic fun for all ages
Lots to do
Great selection of food
Slightly pricey
I have been to Disneyland Paris twice now and have just booked my 3rd trip for my 18th birthday with friends.
I can see how much the park has improved since going in 2000, the addition of the second park has kept the magic going. I only went for a day trip this time and highly recommend staying as it's difficult to see it all in one day.
My second visit in 2004 I had a wonderful time, the staff were friendly, the service was great, the hotel was lovely and clean. The swimming pool, steam room and sauna are great to relax in after a tiring day.
The parades were fantastic and even being an older child then at 15 I really enjoyed them.
The only drawbacks I can think of were that the fast pass system didn't work on some rides, some restaurants can be very pricey but there is a cafe or two selling sandwiches etc, and there is always macdonalds for value..?
Annette's diner do the best oreo cookie milkshakes.. I have been craving one since 2004!
Perhaps it was the time of year I went but the Disney Village never had many people in it, especially at night and also the NEX arcade hadn't opened then, perhaps that's why.
I have seen a lot of people saying the French were rude? I have never noticed this, the shows offer English too, if not they generally have subtitles at least and most staff had a good command of French. You have to remember, it is in France, not England!
Overall this is a great place for children and adults of all ages as there's something for everyone...if your budget is lower then there a re lower priced hotels..and higher priced for a higher budget etc.. The only thing to change would be having perhaps a few cheaper restaurants.
Either way I am looking forward to going this July and getting over my fear of the rock'n rollercoaster!!
