Good Points

Atmosphere, decor. Lovely room!

Bad Points

Standard of food, lacks 'little extras' eg. toothbrushes, biscuits with tea

General Comments

Me and my boyfriend stayed in the Urban Suite at The Kensington Rooms, which was just as good as it looks on the websites with huge fluffy pillows, a huge bed and funky modern decor. The bathroom was also nice and the towels were very soft, as would be expected from a luxury hotel!
However, the hotel could have benefited from more experienced staff, and attention to detail- such as more than two teabags in a room, biscuits, toothbrushes for forgetful guests and a plug for the bath (without having to ask!).
There was also a slug with the breakfast fruit (not nice!), although the hotel itself is lovely (nice modern look with a beautiful aquarium in reception) and the mints in reception were a nice touch.
The hotel is in a good location with some nice, good value restaurants nearby.
On the whole a nice hotel, although would have expected more at £130 per night!
