Good Points

Fun to ride: responsive, plenty of top end. 43 mpg in heavy traffic, just broke in, will see how it does on longer, faster rides.
Large lockable storage

Bad Points

Low windshield
Occasionally stalls when throttle dropped; dealer made adjustment.
Plastic glove boxes don't close well
Open storage can cause plastic seat to move to side if on side stand too long

General Comments

I spent months looking for a commuter bike, much of it right here. I'm a big guy (6'4, 220 lbs) so I needed a bike that didn't put my elbows on my knees. Yamaha YP400 Majesty fits me fine. The wife enjoys riding 2-up (cushy pillion) to friends' homes. After break-in got on highway and easily got to 70 mph, with plenty of throttle to spare (passed a guy at 80 and rpm still not to 6K). I have plenty of room for laptop bag, change of clothes, etc. in lockable storage... perfect bike for the commuter like me who wants a conservative, fun alternative to a petrol-guzzler while riding to work. Wind screen is obviously too short for the road, but not bad for slow riding in rush-hour here in the States. I LOVE my bike!

You will get more room if you remove the butt stop on the seat. See www.Majestyusa.com.

Both Givi and Yamaha now make a taller windscreen.
