General Comments

We bought the Electrolux 7119 vacuum as my wife suffers from allergies and the HEPA filter seemed like a good idea. However, the design of the 7119 is one of the worst I have seen. Basically, it just sucks everything through a single HEPA filter, which as a result becomes clogged with rubbish very quickly, resulting in an almost immediate lose of suction. Once the filter is completely clogged ( ~2 hours of general house work) the 7119 decides it requires emptying. The rubbish collector is practically empty with all the dirt lodged in the filter, the cleaning of which is a VERY messy and unpleasant experience , certainly not advisable for anyone with allergies. Therefore, after only 6 months of resentful use we are off to buy a Henry, they may be ugly but people cannot recommend them more highly.
