General Comments

Truprint do offer good prices for film developing, starting at 99p for a 24exp film in their standard size prints. However prints are VERY small (5x3.5") and so you will almost certainly pick a larger print. Service is reasonably fast, about what you'd' expect for any postal film lab really, it's an average speed. You can however for just 45p choose an "express" option, which is 24hr lab turnaround for weekdays.

Now the bad. They will NOT handle B&W film which I use a lot of. The free film offer is good but remember you get a colour 100 ISO film back, regardless of what type you send in, so make sure you have use for that type of film before being tempted. Finally, they charge extra for developing onto matt rather than gloss paper. I guess most people who use the service want gloss, but it's be nice just to be able to pick without having to pay more for a service which costs no more to offer.

At the end of the day I won't say I'm staggered with the service either good or bad, but for producing ordinary prints at rock bottom price, these are better than most on cost terms and the service is as good as the others.

Important note: When you pick up the envelopes you often find at airports etc. check the prices, some envelopes have higher prices on them than others! When you find a 99p one, grab a handful of them.
