Beautiful island with very friendly staff.
Bad Points
Had to pay for water. hand towels not provided. Children took over the pool with no control what-so-ever. Rep. not at all helpful. Glass etc. on beach.
General Comments
Kuredu Island is a beautiful island to visit. Unfortunately we booked a beach bungalow and was very dissapointed with our accommodation, on the first day of our stay we requested an upgrade to a Beach Villa (which we were more than happy to pay for) only to be told that accommodation on the island had been double booked and that they had a large party of divers expected later in the week. We later saw an adverisement in the reception area asking for volunteers to transfer to other islands with a free upgrade, we put our names on the list but were not accepted as they required the Beach Villas.
The holiday was supposed to be all inclusive but we had to buy water, ice-cream etc. The choice of food was very limited and so at times we were paying to eat in the a la carte restaurants (which were very good and also good value).
Several times we asked for hand towels, as we were only given 1 bath towel each, three days before leaving the island we were told that they only supply one towel per person in the Beach Bungalows. On the pattio area we had two plastic chairs which were not at all comfortable.
When walking on the beach you had to be very careful as there was quite a lot of broken glass etc scattered about.
It was impossible to swim in the pool as there were children running round and jumping in with parents throwing them from one to another.
