Supposed to be a 5 star and really a 2-3 star. Caters for mainly Germans.


General Comments

Found the buffet night after night at Kiotari, Rodos Maris Hotel was really boring. The water with dinner was tap water which gave me and partner really upset stomachs. Stoped drinking that and having ice with drinks and still had problems. As we were only eating and drinking at the hotel, it MUST have been something there.

The rooms are very shabby and so is the rest of the hotel. All the machines in the 'gym' are rusty with screws missing.

The entertainment and food mainly catered for Germans.

ALL the drinks (spirits) are watered down at the bars. I asked for a glass of rose one night and the barman poured red and white wine in a glass together and served it to me. I was astonished.

If you appreciate finer things that you would expect from 5 star, like good food, drink, facilities and accomodation then this is not for you.
