Good Points

LipSense Color goes on smoothly and doesn't come off onto napkins/cups/etc. Looks nice initially.


Bad Points

Only lasted about 3 hours - had to keep reapplying it! Smells bad when it first goes on, tingles due to cosmetic alcohol, expensive.


General Comments

I was excited about Senegence LipSense All Day Lip Color at first. To think, a lipstick that lasted all day (per the salesperson). I wore it every day to work and found that it lasted only about 3 hours. - Even applying 3 coats and the gloss as directed. The smell when I applied it made my stomach turn, but it went away quickly. I am disappointed that it does not live up to the claim of long lasting. It does not smear or smudge though! I did not have to worry about the ease of removal, since it wore off quickly anyway.

    I had the exact same experience as you when I first started using LipSense. Don't give up on LipSense because it sincerely will last longer the longer you wear it. I use Clear LipSense as my 1st layer and follow it with 3 layers of my favourite colours. Clear allows me to wear LipSense for about 10 hours. It really is good value because 1 tube will last 4 to 6 mouths, which is the equivalent to 5 lipsticks. Have you ever worn any lipstick that lasted 3 hours? As far as the smell...that is to keep the tube sterile, and it dissipates in about 3 seconds after you apply LipSense.
