Nice furniture at cheap prices and other things
Misinformation, nothing in stock even though told they are.
We went to Ikea croydon to furnish 3 bedrooms, we arrive at 10am hoping to be finished by at least 5pm. We spent hours finding the right furniture as nothing was where you would imagine it to be. The information desks had queues, once you got there some of the staff were knowledgeable but god forbid if you changed your mind about one item, you would have to queue again and then find that the previous member of staff had made a mistake. This meant that the whole list had to be done again amidst grunts and sighs from fellow waiting customers. After 7 hours and with a 'correct' list of the items we began to search the rows for the 'pick up'..out of 42 items only 21 were in stock (1 wardrobe had 9 parts). We then had to abandon the partially complete items which was not easy as we weren't sure which bits belonged to which. We left at 12.30 am with only 2 beds/and one chest of draws which had to be delivered by the in store delivery service waited one hour for this service, then they coudln't count out items properly! NIGHTMARE
