Flymo HT600 Electric

“There are now power rating labels and I was convinced...”

Good Points
Looks good and very lightweight. Long long cable.

Bad Points
Holding position not very good. Cannot be used one handed (for safety reasons!!) to reach right across the top of my hedge,

General Comments
There are now power rating labels and I was convinced it wa a puny 300 watt motor until I looked it up on the web. You could sell the
Flymo HT600 Electric at Toys- R-Us as incapable of cutting off fingers. Impossible to cut privet across the whole length of the blade. Grinds to a halt and very prone to jamming on twigs. This same model in different colours is badged by other companies e.g. Draper so beware you don't buy one by mistake. I can generally run any model into the dust afetr 4/7 years but this one is being binned in it's first season as completely unfit for task. Not my best buy on Ebay!
