Good Points

This is a beautiful board for it's price! It has great bus speeds, which makes the real difference in speeds of different motherboards.

It has an AC'97 sound card! The 3D sound is really beautiful!


Bad Points

The AGP speed is only 4x, on which you'll miss out the real speed of your external VGA card.

Don't expect too much of the Prosavage8 on-board graphics card.


General Comments

I use the ASRock K7VM2 motherboard in one of my portal servers. It's up 24/7 with hundreds of thousands of hits a day. No matter what happens, this board keeps running!

With the great bus speed, it is very handy for using with 2D applications and for playing music. I find the sound of the AC'97 sound card really of astonishing beauty!

Oh, and don't forget the 4 USB 2.0 ports, which can even be expanded to 6 of them!

I used this board in a gaming PC for a while, but the 4x AGP speed lacks for this kind of use. It is however, a good all rounder.
