Easy to use especially if you are used to SE phones. Keyboard lights up in low light. Phone is light and the belt loop is handy.
Bad Points
The camera shutter button is right where it shouldn't be plus you don't have to be in camera mode to take photos so it goes off all the time, when in your pocket, opening the flip phone or just picking it up. Other SEs have locks on the camera or an on-off switch. This is a major irritation. Also the white cover marks very easily and looks scruffy very quickly.
General Comments
The Sony Ericsson Z520iis not a particularly cheap phone with an average camera. This has to be a spare phone and SE need to rethink the shutter design asap.
