PLYMOUTH BRANCH: Helpful staff - lots of choice - very good prices.
They don't have shirts to try on so it's hard to see exactly how the suit will look before booking it.
Just hired a traditional morning suit for my wedding in July 2006. We were warned to stay away from Moss Bros but thought we'd check them out anyway. Couldn't be happier. The suit was perfect - the staff were friendly and helpful - I was not rushed or pressed into a 'sale'. When I couldn't decide on a colour for the waistcoat and cravat, I was brought lots of examples so I could consider them at my leisure.
They only lose points because they don't have shirts to try on (however, I'm not sure if that was just a temporary thing and maybe they normally do). Therefore, wear a white shirt if you are going to try suits on - you'll get a better idea of what it looks like.
