General Comments
I flew with United for the first time on Feb 1st 06 from London Heathrow-New York JFK and I have to say that the service was absolutely fantastic. I travelled in economy on the outbound leg of the trip and found the service and manner of the staff to be excellent,they treat you like they actually care about you not like most airlines who just want to feed you,shut you up and get you off the plane. The food was very good indeed I had a roast chicken dinner with all the veg followed by various deserts and snacks and then a light lunch later on,this is the only airline that I have honestly really enjoyed the food on board and the service made the 6 hour flight pleasant and not a headache. I flew United Economy Plus on the return leg of the flight and that was very good indeed with enough leg room for me to fully stretch out and lie back and im a tall guy thats not easy on most airlines! they compliment with regular beverage runs around every 25-35mins or when you need one and I am planning on flying United again,I have flown BA and Virgin Atlantic the best carriers in the business and they dont compare to United and United is cheaper too so great value for money,that is why I urge you all to fly United and you wont be disapointed,and hey if you get a lil bored you can always tune into channel 9 on the audio system and listen to the United exclusive ATC chatter between the pilots (pretty cool) :-)
