Good Points

Easy to use
Excellent clarity of sound - picks up the slightest noise
Decent battery length on portable unit - small and compact
Recharges from base unit overnight


Bad Points

The noise when the base unit is switched off, and it and beeps when the battery is low (very annoying if you forget to put it back into the charger unit overnight)


General Comments

The Philips SC477 Digital Baby monitor is sleek, efficient and does exactly what you need from it. The baby unit has a built in nightlight, and the parent unit is small and compact, and holds its charge for at least 12 hours. We tend to keep it by the side of the bed in its charger. The clarity of sound is excellent, and the intercom function is useful to get the husband to bring things upstairs!
