Better coaches than National Express
Could have a bit more legroom
Not many breaks
Had a trip recently to Scotland using the Mega Bus freebie offer. It cost me a grand total of 50p booking fee from London to Inverness!
I travelled on the overnight trip both ways and although legroom was a bit restricted on the way back (I managed to get in a 4 seat bay on the way out so I could stretch my legs then!) I still managed to sleep OK and the fact that they use the Greenline Bus Station in Victoria meant that I was able to run through to the train station for the train back down to the Sussex coast in the morning!
The buses were clean in both directions and were both modern double decker coaches and were more comfortable than the last time I travelled with NX. The toilet/washroom also had much more space than the NX coaches - that was important when putting my face together in the morning!
I would definitely use Megabus again compared to NX.
