I really struggled to find a really good 90's hot hatch after parting with both a Golf Vr6 and Astra GTe 16v. At first I was going to buy a Clio Williams but failed to find a good one. In the end I settled on the Peugeot 306 GTI6 and it turned out to be a really good car that did most things I asked of it. The understated looks of the car are both a good thing and a bad thing. I do normally like my hot hatches to look hot.
After 2.5 years and over 20,000 miles I've now sold the car but enjoyed my time with it. I did however hate the poor turning circle which sometimes made me look an idiot when parking and it didn't have anywhere to put anything. Otherwise a great car but like most French cars I sold it before anything much started to go wrong because I knew it would before too long.
