General Comments

The B&W DM602 S3 speakers have changed the way I spend my leisure time! Television has taken a serious back seat to the time we spend simply listening to music. While shopping for speakers ranging in price from $300 to the $1000 level I kept coming back to listen to the 602s. The only speakers I found to be superior to these speakers were the B&Ws that cost about $1200 each. They sounded a little more full due to the additional base they produced. After owning the 602s for a year I added a 10" Definitive Subwoofer to the room and it added just the right amount of base. With the sub I feel the sound package is at least equal to if not superior to the much more expensive set. These three speakers fill my 350sf room with an incredible sound. They are pushed by a Harmon Kardon AMP20II receiver that puts out about 50-60 wpc.
My music covers all spectrums and these speakers have proved to be the best I have ever heard. No matter if they are played at candlelight dinner or neighborhood complaint level the sound is crisp, clear, deep and full. I continue to search the shops out of curiosity to see if better sound is available but have not found it yet. I have several musically oriented friends that also appreciate audiophile level music reproduction and every time the subject comes up they always agree that my B&W 602s with the 10" sub is the best setup they have ever heard.
