Practical and comfortable, fun to drive. Economical on fuel.
Needs constant expensive repairs.
Bought a year model 2000 that was 10 months old. Had the car for 3 years. We would have kept it longer if it had not begun to need repairs every 3 months that cost about 150 Euro. It was comfortable and just the right size and power for our family. We live isolated and have winter climate about 6 months per year here in Sweden and the car was fantastic in deep snow. During the time we had it it needed a new propshaft, new brake discs, new suspension arms, new shock absorbers (front) and we had a long drawn out creaking noise that took 3 workshop visits to cure. We now own a Mitsubishi Outlander that is more comfortable and reliable and love it. The shape, however is less practical that the Renault and has less ground clearance.
