It is very cheap, and the sound is surprisingly good quality. It also comes with an audio left and right connector etc, so that you can hook your iPod or MP3 player up to it; or even your DVD player and your games console. I also found it very easy to set up in my bedroom, and it is very useful that there are separate volume controls for the sub-woofer, front, left and centre, which is very useful if you're sat too near to certain speakers, as you can just turn the volume of them down.
The amber light annoyingly flashes whilst it is on standby.
I would recommend the Durabrand Home Cinema Surround Sound to teenagers/older children that want decent 5.1 surround sound in their bedroom.
