General Comments

I decided to change my mobile phone after having a Nokia 3210 (very reliable) for 4 years, and it was starting to die, so I got the Sagem MYX-7!

It cost me £150 at the time in 2004, but I am sure it's cheaper now. It looks very stylish with a silver case and buttons, but I'm not fond of the clicky buttons.

The screen quality was very good for the time, but compared to phones nowadays, it's starting to look old.

It has got a video camera which usually lasts for about 15 seconds, but you can't adjust the length of time in which you want to record.

You can record 30 second sections of music and then use them for ringtones or message alerts etc., which is a nice feature.

It's got a memory space of 4.2Mb. I have about 60 640x480 pixel photo's stored on my phone, but I can't get them off my phone as I need an infrared adapter.

It also has infrared so you can transfer photo's, videos and sounds etc. to people.

On average my phone battery last for roughly 40 hours on a full charge without being turned off or something like that, but it lasts longer than the Nokia 3210's battery!

I've dropped my phone on to floors, and it has only scratched the casing. No cracks yet.

I used it when I went to Fuerteventura, and it wasn't very expensive to text (something like 15p over there).

If you are driving a car and don't want to get spotted by the bizzies, you can answer it, put it on loud speaker and hear it clearly, although you will look as though you are talking to yourself.

I have no just found that you can store email contacts on the phone.

I hope my review was of some use!
