General Comments

I let my house out through Your Move Estate Agents. The expensive inventory missed out a lot of items in my property, which astounded me as the house was hardly furnished. When I received a copy of it, after the tenants had moved in, I commented, but was told that it was too late to add anything. Consequently, when the tenants moved out, there was chaos: curtains were dirty, but, as they weren't originally listed, Your Move would only pay to have them removed (despite the fact both landlord and tenant said they were the landlords!). Ditto the fixed bathroom cabinet and bathroom mirror. Don't believe a word about Your Move checking cleaning has been done: even the loo was disgusting, but Your Move chose not to notice! I've had e-mails ignored, phone calls not returned and unbelievable attitudes from staff.

    Commiserations, Debbie. Estate agents are they? Well, I'm not surprised at your experience, as in my opinion -- and I'll be polite -- they all seem to be guilty of terminological inexactitudes and an irresistable desire for other people's money.
    Get after them!
