General Comments
I wanted an MP3 player and basically got more than I bargained for. iRiver H340 plays full length movies!!!
Everyone raves on about Ipods but all my wife's one does is annoy me in it's cumbersome useage.
I have had up to 9200 files (36 Gb) loaded onto my H340 with no problems. The only time I had a problem was when I switched on the indexing, it too so long (2 hours to boots up) that I haven't used it since. The player has a very powerful microphone that I use for record my guitar and listening back. Additionally it can read text files (books), play AVI video at a reasonable resolution which is perfectly watchable. The case is extremly strong and mine is completely strached but this does not detract from the usability.
Plays a variety of formats and has upgradable firmware ( i've just added a video section) by updating to the Korean firmware. All of my friends want one but can't justify the high price. I say buy one at an airport like I did!
