General Comments

The Chrysler Crossfire is basically an American muscle car with German pedigree. Built largely on Mercedes underpinnings and engine components this little sportscar really packs a punch. Push the pedal to the floor and the 3.2 litre V6 engine growls like a predator, accellerating you from 0-60 in just a shade over 6 seconds, which is more than enough excitement for day to day use. Handling can be a little skittish as it runs away with you in the wet, but this is where the Mercedes steptronic auto box really comes into it's own, with different settings for winter and summer driving. The cabin is well equipped, comfortable and imparts the feeling of safety. Boot space is surprisingly large for a car in this class. Everything about this car is solid.
