Good Points

Very comfortable and reliable.
A nippy motor that is easy to enjoy!


Bad Points

Can rust around wheel arches easily.
Limited rear seating, big boot area


General Comments

The Nissan 100 NX was used as a workhorse everyday for six years. It went places where sports cars don't or should not go!
The engine is based in the Nissan Sunny and is generally easy to work on, however Nissan parts are often shocking in price. The gaiters often needed replacing and welding was required later in life, but, this can be forgiven as the car (mostly driven by my partner) was enjoyed and proved eccomomical at the same time giving the fun factor to driving especially in the summer as the car is a Tbar (Targa) top car. (The roof lifts off for those summer days). We could not believe the popularity of this car when we decided to sell. I have noticed lots of possible sound buys as many elderly folk bought these some years ago and cared for them well, hence very good second hand buys are about. Good luck if you are looking for one. My partner really wants another one.
