Good Points

Brilliant gameplay
Very addictive master league mode
There are a lot more good points, but they're just a lot harder to think of because they don't stick out as much as the bad ones. So I hope I don't sound like I'm bad mouthing the game to those of you who are thinking of buying it, because this game is definitely worth it! Trust me!!

Bad Points

There are a few extremely frustrating glitches, such as when you shoot; the keeper catches it in both his hands, and then when he's getting up, he puts it just over the line, and there won't be a goal awarded (that's happened to me a few times).
Another extremely frustrating glitch is when you make an inch perfect through ball, and the player on the receiving end of the ball sometimes runs towards the ball, and when he's yards away from it he will start to run away from it and will end up in a terrible position to shoot; instead of intercepting it (those of you who have already got pes5 will feel my pain).

General Comments

Don't get me wrong, I think Pro Evolution Soccer 5 is a work of art, and an absolutely brilliant game!! But, and it is only a small one, I think Konami still haven't just quite perfected it yet.

My reason's for this are some gameplay glitches, as you will see in my bad points, and here are the things, in my view, that Konami need to sort out the most in the next installment of PES:

1. The through ball glitch
2. The unlicensed leagues, teams, names, and so on
3. And last but certainly not least - the pathetically bad and annoying commentating.

But please don't get me wrong, if you like football games then there is no other game to go for - believe me!

i find the ref is sooooooooooooooo annoying. every time i make a challenge on the opposing team they always go down with the slightest of nudges. But when they do it to my team the ref doesn't see a thing. IDIOT PROGRAMMING!!!

I agree. Pro Evolution Soccer 5 is a great game, but there is still room for improvement!
