General Comments

I borrowed £17,000 over a 15 year period from First Plus Loans, and I was advised not to settle early until a minimum of 5 years had passed. I was paying £215 a month. On January of this year I asked for an early settlement figure, as that was 1 month passed the 5 years, and I was quoted a figure of £16,800; so for the 5 years in which I had paid a total of £13,115, I had only paid £200 of the loan.

Anyone who is reading this, my advice would be to borrow from a reputable bank.
