“Formerly witty, biting and frequently sarcastic, Heat...”

Formerly witty, biting and frequently sarcastic, Heat has now transformed itself into every other celebrity magazine on the shelf, and decided to suck up to all the non-entity celebs rather than slyly mocking them. I buy it on the rare occasion that they have an interview with anyone I remotely like (as D-list celebs fail to interest me), but it's not worth the price - to be honest I'd rather spend only 60p on one of Heat's numerous tacky imitators which now seem to deliver the same amount of intelligence - i.e. none.

It used to be great. No longer.

you don't need to do the whole i.e thing, it was an obviously tacky joke anyway you didnt have to put emphasis on it.
