Best outdoor camera I've had, and excellent indoor mid range to about 30 feet. 'Zoom on Zoom' feature excellent for all the detail and ironing out the laugh lines afterwards. Superb quality pics.
Bad Points
Unless on continual shoot or video mode, seems to take just a wee bit too long to focus, and the 'moment' can be lost.
General Comments
The Canon Ixus 700 is a super digital camera. it is lightweight, and takes excellent pictures. The only problem found so far is taking longish distance pictures inside gloomy buildings e.g. churches, and graduation halls etc., where the light is sort of 'in between'. I do manage to clean up pictures and enhance them, but it does take a bit of doing.
It is easy to use to start, but some features require a bit of practice. I'm still learning how to use all the features. Each new one enhances the previous pictures.
