General Comments
I had this Daisy Powerline 856 gun for 2 years and killed aroud 25-30 squirrels and count less birds. My friends brought over his RWS 22cal that shoots around 850fps with $200 scope on it. He was furious when I walked out of the woods with 2 squirrels and he none. I bought this gun with the scope combo for like $45 at Wallyworld. The scope was some cheap thing that was like $8 sold saperately. I never cleaned or took care of the gun. Ive left out in the rain over night and the freakin scope was cloudy and full of water and once it dried I took it out the next day and still dropped a squirrel at 30 yards. I don't under stand people who think that a air rifle has to shoot 1000 fps. To kill anything, people like that in my opinion are trying to make up for bad shooting skills with money and power. True this gun can't kill a squirrel at 75 yards like a Talon SS can but why do people pay $500+ for a pellet gun. I could take that money and buy a high powered rifle. Overall this is a great gun you can't beat the price.
