Having saved for a new TV for 2 years, I finally collected it this week. I connected up my Sony DAV-S800 last night, and have for the first time in four years experienced the same problem as others. The machine is rarely used, as we have been waiting for a TV for this room. I notices that someone has just had theirs repaired for £60.00. Where did you get it fixed? There is no way I can scrap this system (£800.00) for something that has spent nearly two years in a box. It is outrageous!
Can anyone help? PS Does anybody find the remote is next to useless i.e. you have to point it at the machine with a clear line of sight for anything to happen??
