Lace protector, toe suede stays on for about four or five months.
The zig zag tread wears through too quick
I bought the DC Manteca shoes a long time ago, they were my second pair of skateboarding shoes after the Adio Bam v1. I started skating in them right when I bought them (sometime around October) and I kept them until March the next year. If I were skating with these shoes like I'm skating now, they would be amazing to last that long but I was just learining basic tricks and ollieing off like 2 or 3 steps. I couldn't even boardslide yet, and I think they didn't last too long for me to be a beginner. The toe cap was really good, after four months I just started to get to the rubber underlayer, but the grip on the bottom tore in that time, through to the sock.
