General Comments
At first I was excited to get this phone. I had previously used an assortment of Nokia phones, but decided to try a Motorola. I had been told the Motorolas had better reception than the Nokias, but did not find that to be the case. My house is in the city of Chicago, but AT&T service sucks there so I was hoping that the Motorola would help since it has an external antenna. It may actually be worse indoors than the Nokia was. My fiance has the same Nokia I used to have, and it generally got better reception than the Motorola did.
Then the antenna broke off. It is a poor design feature, since the antenna is held on only by a small plastic screw-on connection. If your phone spends a lot of time in your pocket, the antenna might possibly break off like mine did.
