Good Points

Very easy to use.
Great auto arm system.
Very durable key fob and easy to use with gloved hands.
Very loud with a choice of siren sounds.
Easy to switch of movement sensor for cleaning or ferry travel etc.
Comes with panel/seat removal trigger.

Bad Points

Auto arm should have an owner desired time setting. If you have a full pannier system, it will go off whilst unloading because it will set after 30 secs.
Very small master fuse, not the standard style. GET TWO SPARES.........Just in case Spain, France, Mongolia don't have them in stock.

General Comments

Datatool System 3 is a very expensive system but it is a Cat 1 alarm and works very very well, giving you various response sounds when deactivated to let you know what happened in your absence.
It's so good it's coming off my bike when I change models, (once I've copied the covert wiring pattern down)

You do of course realise that the alarm once registered to a bike cannot be registered to another one. You can change owners (for a small fee see datatool website) but not the bike it is installed on. New bike New Alarm!
