Good Points

Excellent sound quality.
Very long battery life.
Durable especially with the cover that is included.
User friendly and easy to use 'on the go'.
Toggle stick is superb and easy to use
Clear menu's and text.


Bad Points

Not really enough memory for me.
Non-removable memory.


General Comments

I have had this iRiver iFP-790 mp3 player close to a year now and I have never had a complaint. The sound quality is superb, I have used an iPod nano and it doesn't even come close to the clarity of this iRiver. It has a very good equaliser but in my opinion is best left normalised. It is so easy to use 'on the move'. I can unlock it, change volume, change track, stop/pause without even removing it from my pocket. Extremely user friendly, common sense menu's. The battery life is staggering which is a big bonus for me as I use my iRiver all the time. I would like more memory on mine but this series comes in larger memory sizes up to 1Gig. My 256MB can take roughly 44 songs of 128kbits/s quality, and they are quite big songs. This does not take removable memory sticks...what you buy is what you get! This mp3 player is a bargain for the asking price, I would recommend it to anyone.
