Good Points

The boat was brilliantly clean, with a wide variety of food and entertainment. It was the best holiday I've ever been on.
The service and staff were fantastic.

General Comments

The Cosmos Ms Miss Sara was amazing. I went with my mother and father as a last family holiday, so we decided to make it a special one by going on a Nile cruise. I was scared there would be no one else my age as I'm only 17, and there wasn't, but I didn't mind as I made friends with all the passengers and staff. The week as a whole was a bit tiring as their was a lot of early mornings and late nights. I think the highlights of the holiday were going in a hot air balloon at 4am, and flying to Abu Simble at 4am with a 2:30 wake up call, and finally horse riding down the west bank of the Nile. I enjoyed the holiday so much that I'm going back on the same cruise in October, as you do so much in that 1 week that you can't take everything in at once. Our Egyptologist was called Galal aka BIG DADDY, and he was amazing! The amount of artifacts, figures and stories that man had stored in his head was unreal. The captain of the boat was brilliant! We just danced the night away, and he was a real diva!

The entertainment at night included Galalaya night, that included dressing up in Egyptian style costumes that can be bought at a small price on-board the boat. There was also captains bingo where 3 21 carrot gold catoushes were up for grabs. There was a belly dancer, and also lots of disco's. The locals did myther me a bit, as I was younger than the rest with blonde hair and dark skin. This, by the end of the holiday didn't bother me one bit, as you could have a laugh with them.

For the second week of the holiday I took a flight to Cairo for 3 days where I stayed in the Hilton hotel. It was an experience to see how the other half live, and the amount of money that was in that hotel was amazing. Then we flew back to Luxor and stayed at Le Meridien, which was also beautiful.
