Good Points
Fuel economy, comfort, smooth diesel engine.
Good seats, Excellent motorway cruiser
Bad Points
Tyre wear with Dunlop tyres, weak exhaust linkage, a bit tight for 3 adults in rear. Feels a bit heavy on twisty roads.
General Comments
Have covered 95K in my Rover 75 Club over 27 months from new. Broke down twice, once with diesel sensor problem, quickly fixed by dealer and once with defective replacement clutch, garage had fitted wrong one. Dunlop tyres 215/55 r16 wore out at 16k, replacement Continentals last 30k+ and still grip well.
The main problem is the flex pipe connection on the exhaust cat, the car is now on the 4th one (£550 if not covered by warranty) Other than the above problems the car has been excellent and is ideal for long distance travel. I would have had another if they were still available.

Tyre life much better if inflated to 35 psi, any re-tracking should be done with rover specified ballast in the boot.
Exhaust flexible connection problem probably due to deffective engine mounting -- the "hydro mount" should be checked.
