Good Points

Frankly could not test any so far. Heard that magnetron is reliable, and that is the precision reason we went for the model.

Bad Points

Pathetic PCB. Far worse after sales service (in India at least).

General Comments

We use our Electrolux 1780SL microwave oven sparingly (on average, less than 5 minutes per day). Despite that, during the last one year (which is also warranty period) it has been down for 4 months. As of now, it is still not repaired. Reason for downtime is that the PCB is burnt. Reason for local service people not able to repair this (as mentioned by these people) : non-availability of spare part. I am still waiting for the oven to be repaired.
