During the christmas holidays I invited my mate over to do some lamping with me and he brought his BSA Superten. but we were unlucky in the way of quarry and from the usage I gained out of it I loved it.
Whilst using it I thought it would be a huge honking heavyweight thing but I was wrong and it was pretty light for its size at 7.9lbs
This was the carbine version and I'm a great fan of carbibnes, but there is a std barrel version available at no extra cost
You also get an SAS BSA silencer included as well
It is also upgradable in power up to 30ftlbs.
It also has a large shot capacity of 200 shots in .177 and .22 as well.
Also to make things more convienient BSA fitteed it with a removable bottle too so making it idea for when you want an extra 200 shots.
It measure 37.5 inches in carbine version making it shorter than my Stingray!
And as I was wondering around the field and I noticed the trigger was a rather strange design as it could be horizontally adjusted as well as for trigger pull pressure.
It was also a 2 stage trigger so I could line up to the target and gently squeeze with ease.
It has a manual safety a swell so you can flick it over whenever you want to and if you ever miss a shot you can always load another as it is a multi shot air rifle as it can hold 10 shots in both calibres.
But there are always disadvantages or problems, his rifle decided every now and again to jam a pellet or not load one at all, (don't leave rifle cocked otherwise it will cause the loading spring to suffer from fatigue)
I see this rifle as a must have as the good points definitely outweigh the bad points!
Hope my review was of some use!
Regards
Tom
