Very easy to record, and good quality recordings
Some set-up problems due to my own lack of knowledge and the lack of detail in the instructions.
After a few frustrating hours when setting the Sony RDR HX510 DVD recorder up (due to my own slowness at getting my head around how the various bits of equipment worked together), I am extremely happy with this DVD recorder. It is easy to operate and creates excellent quality recordings. The only function I haven't yet succeeded with is the Synchronised Recording - I can get my freeview box to turn on with the timer function, but the DVD recorder doesn't then kick in. Perhaps the kind people who advised me with my set-up problems could oblige again!
