General Comments

I purchased my Carphone Warehouse Mobile Phone Insurance policy, and a week later my wife bought one for my daughter. A year later when I tried to cancel mine by phone, I was told it was in my wife's name and they could only speak to her. I informed them that I had all the paperwork in front of me with all my details on it, but to no avail. I was told I had to go to a Carphone Warehouse shop and get them to confirm it was in my name. This I did, and they confirmed it with the insurers. They then said because they take the premiums 3 months in advance, that I would lose the 2 months remaining. Since this visit, I have contacted them on 5 occasions, and each time they will not speak to me because it is still in my wife's name, and they have cancelled her insurance instead of mine.

To make matters worse because their computer records show that my policy is in my wife's name, if I had made a claim it would have been turned down, even though I had paid all the premiums.

At the moment I am still trying to cancel my policy and get a refund, so far with no success.
