Good Points

All SMEG products look good, but I did not expect my new dishwasher to be purely decorative!


Bad Points

I cannot comment on the SMEG STX2 but I have had the same experience with my SMEG DWF 64SSE. I have only been able to use the machine 5 times in 3 months due to 2 faults, waiting for parts, engineers, etc.


General Comments

The drainage pipe on my SMEG STX 2 was faulty from day one and flooded my kitchen floor. After waiting several weeks for the part to be located and sent from Italy, etc. It was repaired, only to break down the following day as the main control panel failed. The new control panel, which arrived two weeks later, did not work either. PS My Smeg cooker is also awaiting its second repair in two months and the hob turns black almost immediately and is impossible to clean...... Do not buy SMEG unless you thrive on frustration, manual labour and microwaved food! I am thinking of turning my appliances into unusual wall hangings!
