General Comments
I bought my Honda VFR800 last year replaced a Triumph Sprint 03 model, Honda have got this bike right. I can ride for miles and no fatigue whatsoever, seldom use the vtec. use the gearbox and enjoy the roll on power in the mid range, Take your revs up to 5000 and feel the Honda engineering of the V configuration, it's a winner. I can keep up with my mates on bikes with far bigger capacity engines. Value for money is great, fabulous build, suspension is great, eats up the miles, and sooo easy to ride. Honda don't change a thing, You have a beautiful sports tourer. Which other bike manufacturers would die for. I will certainly be replacing my viffer with a new one, if and when the one I have now decides to call it a day. But going on past model reviews. I think that will be a long way in the future, I also bought factory luggage brilliant and holds plenty of clothes, I am a big bloke and my wife average build with two up and luggage the viffer performs great. Also where I live in New Zealand, we have some of the best motorcycle roads in the world!!! So do not be put of by negative reviews take it from me. I have been riding for forty years and have had numerous bikes in that time, and without a doubt, the Honda VFR800 VTEC is the best bike I have ever owned!!

I found this review very helpful because he explained what it was like 2 up, how and where he rides it so that I can compare against my style and where I tend to ride, his build and how that fits with the bike, what the mid range power is like and it also helped to see what he changed from.
