Good Points

(ALCATEL 511) Well other than this phones capability to record ring tones thats really about all this phone has to offer

Bad Points

This phone doesn't particularly look out of this world; as a matter of fact it's rather ugly. The volume on the msg alert or the ringtones is so low its not even worth having any volume at all! The screensavers are all budget basically this is just a terrible phone!!

General Comments

Having had around ten phones in my short mobile phone lifetime and also having lost a vast percentage of them, the alcatel 511 is one phone i wouldnt mind loosing! If you want a phone thats going to be good value for money i suggest you get a nokia. Any type of nokia just as long as it is a nokia. They are stylish, sleek, LOUD and worth every penny thats spent on them. If your going to buy an alcatel of any sort you might wana give it to your dog as a Christmas present.

I use this phone for quite a long time and i'm very pleased. I don't like Nokia immitations and this is definetely not an immitation. It worths every EURO.

hmm, I'll agree that the ring tones aren't loud enough when you in a pub or other busy place, but you can use the vibrate as for nokia's see previous comment about sheep. the phone is fine, and good value for money.

I agree with the comment about the ring tones and the vibrator itself is not one of the best I have seen. However the phone is worth every Rupee I spent on it. The OT 511 runs circles around similarly priced Nokias :-)
