Straightforward, no fuss service. You can send emails using standard software such as Outlook unlike AOL where you have to use their proprietary system. They have also upgraded the number of connections they can offer as I can pretty much connect at any time now - no more hanging around waiting.
The charges are going up, but they are still competitive.
I have used the Freeserve Anytime service for a few years now and I am very happy with it. The access is good and if you have difficulties, the help line staff will usually give you a couple of different numbers to try (18 months ago the story was a bit different - if you needed access between 7pm and 10pm you had to wait ages to get a connection). One tip is to make sure you keep the old account access telephone numbers available - from time to time, Freeserve alter the numbers. When the majority of users switch over the old numbers can end up giving better access (if they are kept live by Freeserve).
