Good Points

An absolutely fantastic resort. Very lively, and the touts do get quite annoying towards the end of the holidays, but drinks are relatively cheap if your not buying big brand names, and one bar offered free drinks for girls as long as you got a lil whale stamp, which was good!

So all in all Malia was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone who is up for a bit of fun in the sun!


Bad Points

Well the tour operator is quite expensive, so if you can try to book flights then book direct with the Happy Days, worked out a lot cheaper for one of my friends who made a last minute decision to come. She paid about £150-£200 less than what we did!

Oh and there are no proper cheap perfume or alcohol shops like you get in most other holiday resorts.


General Comments

Happy Days was an absolutely fantastic place to stay, and helped to top off an absolutely brilliant holiday, in fact we didn't want to leave! It was clean, friendly, and not too far from the hustle and bustle of the main strip!

Staff were incredibly friendly, but quite strict if you cause trouble. One guy got kicked out whilst we were there for jumping off the bridge into the pools, although at the time he was quite drunk and was swearing at the staff, but it wasn't in a violent way. He was warned first though.

I gotta say we must have had one of the best rooms, as we simply walked out of our doors and we were on the pool edge. Pools were small, but brilliant for chilling and cooling down after roasting in the sun :-D

I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone who is planning to visit Malia!!!
