Bad Points

Continuing increase on prices (200% in two years on some products), horrid, arrogant customer service, outrageous shipping prices


General Comments

In addition to raising the prices on certain products a hundred-fold, they seem to mistake their "funky, hip" feeling for an excuse to treat their customers poorly, both in-store and online. Both my sister and myself submitted suggestions that were ignored repeatedly and only when I said they had failed to honor a coupon for a free soap did they bother to reply. They don't send you a confirmation email when they charge your card, and they also charge you an outrageous sum for shipping (it can total up to 25% of your total bill!!). After seven years of patronizing their company, I'm moving on to people who are GRATEFUL for my patronage (and I used to spend $75/month on average!) to companies like BlissofVenice.com or Basin.com, ones that appreciate my business.

    Your review on Lush was a load of rubbish!!! I agree that their customer service needs working on, however if you knew anything about how much it cost to make these cosmetic delights and the history of the company then perhaps you would not be so negative! The people who started up this company began with nothing apart from creative genius and have now ended up being one of the most sucessful companies in the UK; they spend a lot of time and money in researchiang and using these luxurious ingredients in their products to make them good for even the most sensitive skin; and also the price of these ingredients are very expensive, and are consatntly on the up like any other product that we buy, so LEAVE LUSH ALONE!
