Wonderful food, wonderful snorkelling, incredibly quiet and romantic, friendly staff.

General Comments
Athuruga is a very peaceful island, excellent for a romantic getaway. Truly idyllic beach with warm, sparklingly clear water. Only 46 rooms on the whole island (you can walk right round it in 15 minutes) so it's very peaceful. Food a great mix, lots of freshly-caught fish but my fish-phobic partner also found plenty to eat. Nearly everything inclusive - cocktails, spirits, choice of wines - only very top brands were extra. Large, well-equipped rooms with outdoor bathrooms - all felt very private. Can't wait to get back
