I have the N90s (USA) version. The camera has performed flawlessly for several years now. The feel is good especially with the MB-10. Sturdy build, great metering and autofocus is okay. I use one for back up to F5 and still like it a lot. Very good value.
Autofocusing is a little slow compared to F5 but entirely adequate. No other bad points I can think of.
I bought this camera about two years ago and used it with a Nikon N90 and N8008s. I recently bought an F5 so the N90s is a backup. I have traveled several times to Europe and to National parks, dropped it once onto concrete with no damage (verified by Nikon service), have had it in dust, rain and snow and it just keeps working. I do not know what Nikon's plan is for the N90s now that the N80 is coming out but it is a bargain, a quality product and I really have enjoyed owning and using it.
